I thought The Grey Zone was a really good movie. It was extremely disturbing, though. I found myself looking away from the screen at times because some of the scenes were just so horrible and sick I couldn't bear to watch them. In particular, the scene that stood out was the one where the Jewish workers found the girl who was still breathing in the gas chambers. It's a miracle that she survived, that they found her, and that they revived her. This movie really showed me how horrific the events in the Nazi death camps really were.

This film is very graphic, and it gives the class a visual of what happened to the Jewish people in the extermination camps. I had an idea of hoiw bad things were in the camps, but after seeing it I was shocked. No one should have to go through that amount of pain. Seeing inside a gas chamber, and how some Jews were lying to their own people just to live longer was also disturbing. I'm eager to the watch the end of The Grey Zone.

I agree with Natalie, some parts of the movie were really hard to watch. But I like the way Mr. Gallagher teaches us, and by showing us these movies, we get a better idea of how much the Jewish people suffered.

I thought that this was a terrific film that gives great insight on what was actually occuring in the death camps. I had always heard stories about the ovens and the gas chambers at the camps, but you can't really comprehend how terrible it is until you actually see it. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to actually be there.

I thought that the gray zone was a spectacular movie. It did a very good job depicting how inhumane and disgusting the conditions at the concentration camps were. I never realized how easy it was for the nazis to lure the jews into the gas chambers, and put them to death. I agree with natalie that parts of this film were hard to watch.

The movie (The Grey Zone) was extremely informative, graphic, and heart-wrenching. At times the movie was very difficult to watch, seeing the unimaginable horrors unfold right before my eyes. The two most disturbing parts of the film (in my opinion) was the scene where they showed the Jews being tricked into stepping into the gas chamber, and the Nazi officer who shot the young girl that was saved from the gas when she tried to run away.

I thought the video did a great job showing the fear and despair of the jewish people. It was very graphic, but this is because the extermination camps were even more horrific than the conditions portrayed by the movie. I think it was very important to watch this movie and open the eyes of anyone who did not previously know how horrendously the nazis treated their jewish prisoners.

This movie has stuck with me the most out of all the movies we have watched this year. It was absolutely horrifying, and there were several points where I felt like crying. For a large part of the film I had to look away from the screen because I couldn't deal with everything that was going on. I absolutely hated while I was watching it because I felt so physically uncomfortable as it was going on, but I'm really glad to have seen it in retrospect. I wasn't expecting the ending at all, either. For some reason, I always assumed the main characters who were supposed to be the good guys would get away in the movies. It was overall very emotional.

I agree with Megan that the girl who survived the gas really stuck out for me. I thought it was haunting that we never really heard her speak until she narrated that bit at the end.

I agree with Chris it was hard for me to watch the end and see that these men that were laying ground were about to be killed as they were talking about their lives and their families and we got to see that they are real people and then they were just shot for no reason.

I also agree with Chris, the ending scene was very hard to watch. They were shooting them one by one and I felt bad for the young girl who had to witness it. She survived the gas and already went through a lot, then she had to witness the shootings and in the end, they shot her too.

I thought this movie did a very good job portraying the events that took place in the concentration camps during the holocaust. I couldn't believe how horribly the Jewish people were treated. I think watching this movie made it so much more real for me how sick and disturbing the soldiers were to the Jews. I think it was very important that we watched this film, to better understand what exactly went on in the camps.

I agree with Natalie, there were several points in this movie where I had to look away because I couldn't even believe how horribly they were treated. I knew beforehand how horrible the camps were, but watching this movie made it so much more real. It was really heartbreaking seeing what some of the Jews could do to the other Jewish people.

The film "The Grey Zone" took the viewers inside the death camps and allowed real insight as to just how horrid they were. The camp functioned like a factory, constantly pushing more Jews through to their death. The most disturbing part, to me, was when they showed the gas process and the pulling out of fingernails. The Jewish people had no idea what their "shower" really meant. I agree with Jen that watching the movie made the whole Holocaust seem more real.

The Grey Zone was an excellent movie that mirrored others like Uprising and the Pianist. As Fernado mentioned It was an excellent film dipiction of the gas chambers and the fires, and I think that as we reach a time period where many survivors are dying due to age, films like this start to become the only resource avaiable. An excellent movie.

The Grey Zone really touched me and got to me. Most Holoocaust films that i have seen just show the facts, they dont capture the way the Nazis lied and made the jewss think that they were safe, when really they were sending them to our death. After the movie was shut off it waws hard for me to go on to my next class. I compared my simple life to the life of those who were suffering and being tortured, but weirdly i didnt feel lucky, just guilty that im here living such an easy life while these people suffered greatly

This movie was horrific. It was very good in the sense that it showed the darkest part of the holocoust but at the same time was so sad. To actually see the things that were done in the way this movie showed really brought it to home. I can say enough how upset I feel when I think about these poor people and it amazes me that the nazis coul dc do it.

I agree with fernando. I knew about these things but I truely didnt know how bad it actually was. It makes me sick and I dont understand how something so horrific could do such a thing
